Wow, its been a long time. Sadly, I don't have much to say these days. I guess all I had to talk about was Smallville, and I don't have that much more to say about that

My Summer Vacation....chatchienJuly 21 2011, 16:41:11 UTC
I'm doing a lot of dog sitting and walking this summer---in 90 degree heat and on Cardiac Arrest Hills around my house. There are nothing but hills, and steep ones, around my house to walk the dog. Funny, the New Perspective that a dog will give one on one's neighborhood. And my butt hurts. It acts like it hasn't been exercised properly before.
I've got Breaking Bad to watch this summer. All the characters on it are going to hell. I wonder if Hell will be as hot as it currently is at my place.
I've got a piece on Lana from SV that I keep meaning to write up, but not yet, I guess.
I was pretty satisfied with all of SV except for Seasons 2 and 8. And in Season 6, Clark got fat and things meandered a bit. But SV was my Good Trash TV Show and I haven't found another one to take its place (SPN has gone to Hell and good riddance and may every hill in SPN hell have a 30 degree angle to it).
I thought that GoT might take over my Good Trash TV channel, but the show is just a little bit too Good to be Trash as is Breaking Bad. So instead the other night, I found Valley of the Dolls from 1967 on UTube and watched it. Now that is some Good Trash Movie! If only they could make a TV show like it.

Well, just think about how much your heart will be thanking you for the great cardiac workout you've been giving it.
Not to mention the good deed you're doing by doggie sitting.
Lana is a very complicated character. In retrospect, I have a lot more appreciation for her. But sometimes? She was a huge pain in the ass. But she was also in a lot of impossible situations.
I've seen Valley of the Dolls a bunch of times, the Susan Hayward/Patty Duke fight in the bathroom never gets old. They haven't done stuff like on TV since Joan Collins and Linda Evans rolled around in the mud with their giant shoulder pads.
