Gratitude & DWDIDIA
Today I am grateful for a lovely, low-key return to the classroom. The kids were great, and while I was still kind of tired from staying up too late New Years Eve, it was a good work day.
I'm also grateful I was able to get all of my "big rocks" done on today's stuff to do list.

As for my "Didn't Wanna Do It, Did It Anyway," item, there are two. It's snowing up here, and three trash cans had to be brought back up the hill. Did I mention how much I don't like to be cold? Sweet Alexander helped me out so I didn't have to make two trips, and had some nice moments with him walking up the slippery snowy hill.
There was one more too. I did not want to do fold today's laundry. I wanted to assemble the 8 dining room chairs we just got in today's mail. Folded the laundry anyway, and assembled 1 chair. Turns out, assembling the chairs is now officially something I DON'T want to do anymore. Man my fingers hurt! The little hex wrench supplied in the box was a joke, as were the instructions, and putting that 1 chair together was not at all the fun I thought it would be. heh. 1 down, 7 to go. Maybe Hillel will find an electric hex wrench thingy to make the job go way faster.
