LJ Challenge: Day 30
I write to you from my new (free!) netbook! Yey! I'm back to the space of being able to write while waiting for Sarah to fall asleep.
Hillel and I went out to lunch together today (alone!) at Coffee with a T in Stevenson. The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside at a cute litte wrought iron table and chairs under a shady tree. It hearkened back to pre-kid days where we could just be present in a little pocket of time without a care in the world. Nice.
We took the kids to dinner tonight at J&Ps, a nice little family friendly Italian restaurant. They behaved very very well - especially given the time of night. But by the end, Alexander was asking to go home. Poor kid fell asleep in the car on th drive back. I'm sure glad we gave him his medicine before we left for dinner!
Jacob and Mali are talking to their cousins in CA using the new iPhone app Facetime. At least I think that's what it's called. They're just delighted by the whole thing. Me, I feel like if we can do that, then where the hell is Rosie from the Jetsons to take care of all the household stuff?!!? :-)
