The Olympics are almost over, nooo what am I going to do at night now? :( :( :( :(
I've been going on and on about the Olympics over on my Facebook, but here, not so much whoops. I've discovered a new love for short track speed skating* and it has become my favorite Olympic sport after figure skating. They skate around the track! And it's all smooth-looking and exciting! And I've somehow become a fan of Apolo Ohno! (DQ NO!) (On the other hand, sorry guys, but cannot get into the "JR Celski is hot" bandwagon, he is nineteen and wow I feel old. I realized that I have reached the point where I am now older than the athletes in my favorite sports, it is so weird.)
But speaking of figure skating! Yes, Kim Yu-na was awesome, but it is Mirai Nagasu who has won my heart. Oh, she is fabulous isn't she? <3
I get exhausted just watching the Nordic combine! I don't know how they actually do it!
In conclusion, watching bobsledding has led to me requesting Cool Runnings from the library.
*Curling, on the other hand, I will never get.
