rd: back to earth
Okay, I liked the first two episodes, they were fun and I laughed a lot, but the last episode? Pushed it into absolute love. I mean. Just. *flails*
Kochanski! Kochanski appeared! And she's not dead, and oh, that moment with her and Lister was absolutely lovely! When they showed the grave in the first episode and Lister read S&S, my first thought was, "THEY FRIDGED HER? D: D: D: D:" but no! She dumped him and went off on the Blue Midget by herself and I bet she's off having awesome adventures!
And the boys! Whee! Is Rimmer original Rimmer or nano!Rimmer who somehow became a hologram? Because he knows stuff that didn't happen to nano!Rimmer, but maybe he read it off of the files he got in series 8? (If it's nano!Rimmer who somehow died and got hologrammed, then my fanon is that Kochanski bumped into original Rimmer-as-Ace while traveling and they teamed up and she's the actual brains behind the operation. This is truth now because I wrote it so!) And Cat and Kryten are just the same as always, heeeh! And Lister, oh Lister!. Oh my heart!
I love how it's an ending, but also a beginning. Those are my favorite endings, where it's not closed off, they all lived happily ever after, the end. I like that their adventures continue, even if we don't get to see them.
(Best moment, though: Rimmer pushing Katerina into the truck. OH RIMMER.)
