1. Do you write fanfic for Doctor Who?
I did, yes, but haven't for a while.
1a. If so, post a snippet of a work-in-progress (or several)!
For my forever unfinished sequel to
how she will stand:
"Torchwood," Mohinder repeats flatly.
"You've heard of us?"
"Of course," he says. "Torchwood 5, located in Mumbai. Quite the reminder of British rule in India." He shakes his head. "Don't tell me you've started a Torchwood branch here. Isn't it a little late for that? The States haven't been a British colony in quite some time."
"No, nothing like that," she tells him. "We're just...really interested in your father's studies, that's all."
"That's hardly in your province, is it?" Mohinder asks. "How did it go again? 'If it's alien, it's ours.' This isn't alien; it's human."
"That isn't Torchwood," Rose says, "not anymore. Now we just want to protect ourselves. Do what's best."
"And Torchwood thinks they know what's best for humanity?" he scoffs. "Who made you our protectors?"
"Well, someone's gotta be the Doctor," she says with a smile that Mohinder doesn't understand.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
She shakes her head. "Nothing," she says. "Look, Dr. Suresh. This isn't alien, it's human. I get that, all right? And it's different and new and, yeah, okay, it's scary. But Torchwood, all we wanna do is understand what's going on. That's all, I swear."
"Of course that's all you want," Mohinder says disbelievingly.
And, later in the story:
When Mohinder asks for a DNA sample, she simply shakes her head and tells him no. Mohinder might be a doctor, but he is not the right kind of Doctor and so he will not understand the power of the time vortex and what can happen to a person when she looks into the Heart of the TARDIS.
That is something only a Time Lord can comprehend; a mere geneticist wouldn't even know where to begin.
2. Do you create Doctor Who icons?
Yup.
2a. Let's see a sample!
All of the DW icons over on my
userpics were made by me.
3. Recommend a fanfic/icon/fanvid/fancomic/fancreation!
I am so out of the loop right now that I wouldn't know where to start.
4. Have you been to any Doctor Who conventions?
No.
5. Have you ever dressed up as a Doctor Who character?
No.
6. Do you own any Doctor Who merchandise?
Um. Yes.
7. Are you a fan of Russell T Davies?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends.
7a. Steven Moffat?
He's a solid writer, but I don't adore him like a lot of fandom seems to.
7b. Paul Cornell?
He's pretty good.
8. What say you to Season 6b?
Sure, why not? More Two and Jamie is always good!
9. The UNIT dating controversy?
Handwave, I say, handwave!
10. The Blinovitch Limitation effect?
Sure, why not?
11. Multi-Doctor episodes?
Yes! They are of the good!
12. What's your favourite Doctor Who technobabble?
Um. Cannot choose!
13. Have you watched other TV shows exclusively because of the presence of Doctor Who actors?
Um. Of course not. Why would someone do that? That's just silly. *eyedart*

Nope.
14a. Travelled to any filming locations?
No.
15. What do you think of The Curse of Fatal Death?
Love it!
16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?
I could never get on board the Martha bandwagon, no matter how much I wished I could like her a whole bunches. She just didn't click for me the way all of my favorite companions have.
17. What's your favourite pairing?
Doctor/Rose, Ian/Barbara, more but those are the two biggest.
18. What pairing(s) won't you touch with a really long pole?
Most pairings on Torchwood, really.
