This was followed by the whole comic book shop making cracks at the expense of ASBaR while the comic book shop owner tried to excuse it by saying, "well, the story's not done yet, so we shouldn't judge it..."

Yeah, Bill Willingham was at my comic book shop, doing a signing for his newest comic. Whose name I've already forgotten. ^^;; It took me forever to decide which Fables trade to get for him to sign, Storybook Love or Homelands since those are my two favorite storylines (BW: "Get both!" Me: "...but..." CBG: "She already has all the singles."), but I finally settled on Homelands since that has badass!Blue and I love me some badass!Blue. Actually, I just love Blue period. :D
And speaking of Blue, Willingham totally made a Brokeback Fables crack at his expense. Oh Blue! Heeh!
He talked a tiny bit of Jack of Fables, which I totally can't wait to come out. Some familiar faces (he wouldn't name who, I'm hoping on Mowgli, since he is a Tourist), some not at all (same), and he said we'd find out fairly early on about some people like Paul Bunyan. (Dammit, I really wish I could get my mind around that Captain Jack Harkness-Jack of the Tales plot bunny that's been running around for a while now...)
I think I have a rather unhealthly love for Fables.
