Re: Rose. Lol! Like I said earlier, Circular is very much a what-if, so in the series, she's only known one Doctor, the ninth one, who she meets in the first episode. By next series, she'll have known two Doctors, the ninth and tenth ones, but that's not till the next series.
In the area of DW fandom I'm in, like I explained earlier, we like to play with the concept of what if the Doctor knew Rose before she meets him in the first episode. So in Circular, I'm playing around with that. It's common knowledge in the fandom that Nine's regenerating into Ten next series, so I figured, "What if Rose left Ten for some reason and started travelling on her own? And while travelling, she meets and hooks up with the Eighth Doctor and spends years as his companion, thus explaining why Nine seems to be so very attached to Rose in the series?" That's what I wrote the fic based on. Get it?
(And before I confuse you any more, we kinda number the Doctors by their incarnations, 'cause it's easier to know which one we're talking about. Nine is the Doctor's current incarnation on screen, Ten is the next one, and Eight is the one from the movie...)
Anyway, like I said, Rose meets Nine in the first episode of the new series. She's nineteen years old, no A-levels, and works in a department store. She really has no future until the Doctor comes along. For some reason, Nine appears to be really, really attached to her, even though, canon-wise, they haven't known each other very long. There are a lot of points in the series that really drives this home, like Nine being relunctant to do something and explaining it by saying to Rose that "I could save the world but lose you" and the Dalek saying "What use are emotions if you will not save the woman you love?" to him. His attachment to her isn't really explained, though--well, you could say it's because he's all alone and she's all he's got now, but it is still rather odd, so we fans have to make up reasons. =D
As for getting the complete series? BWAH! Good luck on that, since the complete series is never gonna be released. There are lost episodes, yo, episodes that have been thrown away by the BBC and will never see the light of day again. And what the BBC still has hasn't been entirely released on DVD yet. So, yes, luck. =D
And have you heard? I believe the MPAA has slapped Btefnet with a lawsuit or something silly like that.

Ah, are you talking about that short FOX TV movie that was on years ago? Does one little movie really count as a full incarnation? (you know, I don't really even remember what happened in that movie. Just that I was excited about it, watched it, and then...forgot)

Yup, yup, that movie. And he's counted as the official Eighth Doctor by the BBC so he's canon. Be glad you've forgotten the movie. I love Eight, but the movie was just...yeah.
