soo much goodness
my weekend was definite too badass to put into words....friday nite i cruised parties with ultimate girls. didn't want to stay up too late so we decided not to wait until 2 to depart. next morning i wake up at 645 to go set up ultimate fields (SO COLD),and ran around the whole day...maybe a little inebriated..maybe not...after fields were quasi-cleaned, i went home and finished my laundry (go me) before heading out for the night. Ulty Party was excellent, especially since it was martha's birthday. we definitely did a mock new year's eve countdown style. then i ran around telling guys that i would kiss martha on the cheek if they would....hehe. after ulty party we voted to stop by ken's donuts...and then to the ulty hall. we stayed there until around....um...4ish maybe, and then back to the dorm. next morning was colder and rainier, and we drove around austin trying to make the last day of celebracion work.
My dad called me just as we were finally heading back to campus(he had come early to watch me play) and then stole me homewards. I didn't get to go home because me dad's staying with his parents--he just got back from kazakstan and doesn't have a place to stay-or the money to find one--so we drove from austin to lake jackson(5 hours or so). he took me to see the incredibles(with what money i have no idea) and it was good times. after the movie we returned to granparents place. i stretched-because i am way too sore, and then bed around 8ish.(amazing eh? 8'o'clock baby)next morning my grandparents gave me one of their old grinders, and becuase i had my last orhtodontist appointment, a.k.a. the removal of my braces(YAY!!!!), we drove to the woodlands around 6ish.
monday i missed all of my classes because of the orthodontist thing, and i wanted to turn in some applications for work over the holidays. my mom's parents always drive me to austin, and this time we went to eat at kerbey lane before i saw them off back to houston.
went to write philosophy paper at the metro, and ran into gina(my lovely twin)! and we went to make sandwiches with some ulty guys & girls on riverside. it was good times. finally back at the metro, decided that maybe i hadn't seen enough of the ulty crew already, and janice and jenna walked in. apparently monday night is metro night for meghan, shelley, jeremy and the such...i met shelley's roommate brandon...bummed a ride home, tried sleeping for the first time with my new retainer.....can you say pain? didn't sleep very well at all. but its all good. this morning i tried out my new grinder-works like a charm. in september right before quitting my fancy coffee-for-rich-people job i definitely decided i would need some coffee beans for school. so yummy. time for class.
