1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Lose work for this consecutively long, drove to Miami in my own car, went to St. Louis.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I even made any last year, but this year I think I will do a better job of documenting them and going through with them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
yes! Erin Leben & Christie Bradford
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I believe it was last year that my grandmother died?
5. What countries did you visit?
The USA
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Confidence to stand behind myself without doubt and make more concise decisions.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
My mother's surprise birthday party, the moment I realized her cancer came back, that horrible night I spent in my car.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Surviving, and getting past that to see that I am much stronger than I thought I was.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not sticking to some of my resolve, not respecting or trusting myself enough.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope! Knock on wood!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I didn't have much money this year, so I guess groceries, hahahaha!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mom's friend, Donna Briggs who spent tons of money & time on my mother while she was further diagnosed this year.
And my sister who is constantly coming into her own more and more each day.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
John McCain and Zoloft.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, gas and booze.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Christmas with my family, going to St. Louis for the first time, IKEA, my stimulus check!

Paper Planes by M.I.A. (.winkwink, Brandi!), Electric Feel by MGMT, Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl, Dyer Maker by Led Zepplin.

Focusing myself at school & work, taking more personal risks, treat my body better.

Hate is a strong word, but the only thing I really hate is wasting time & Cancer.

I didn't read much this year, but probably Chuck Klosterman V.

Dr. Dog, The Bird and the Bee, Zooey Deschanel, Santagold and MGMT
28. What did you want and get?
Lots of lovely things for Christmas, to spend more time with my family, to kiss a cute boy

To go to the hostel in the forest, to have my debt paid off, to be in a happy romantic relationship.

Taken with Liam Neeson was outstanding, the rest I don't really remember there were so many...

I turned 24. I got White Lilly's. I think I went dancing?

Not having been cheated on and lied to, my mom's cancer staying in remission, that rat not being in my apartment, not having been laid off from the advertising job....ugh.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
creatively inspired by little money and a gamine sort of adrogyenous feel to it....
34. What kept you sane?
Jesus. My family's love for me. being held when i asked for it.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Kristen Wiig, John C. Reilly are amazing-and Hugh Jackman is indeed the sexiest man!
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Republicans being manipulated by their own party as a part of having Amendment 2 passed, to get people to come out and vote.

My Grandma.

Everyone at Austin's-they are some really great folks

I have the right to lead my very own life and existence-aside from everyone else around me;
I am entitled to my own happiness.
