this and that and then some....
alright, so this weekend started out pretty shitty. i donated plasma this past week to make some money so i could go and see jenn for the weekend and after i picked her up from camp we were going to find a qdoba. because both of us really had no idea where we were going, we ended up driving around town and following traffic to the part of town where there were shops and food places. well, because i was the last person in a string of cars and i had no idea what the speed limit was because i didnt see a posted sign yet, i got pulled over by a cop. well, i know i get pulled over a lot, but this is only the second time for speeding in 2 years. anyway, i was explaining to him that i didnt see a sign for a speed limit so i was just following traffic. apparently the speed was 25 mph and i was going 40...like everyone else. so the dusche bag gave me a ticket for 5 over. so now i have to come up with $105 in a week...sweet huh? guess i'll be donating more plasma and picking up shifts at work. i swear my life is like a game of candyland where i will take one step forward and then be sent back to the mama ginger tree (which is in the very beginning of the game). well, i hopefully will be working a LOT in the next couple months so i can get back on my feet. other than that set back, me and jenn had such a perfect weekend. we spend time with some of our favorite friends, there was no drama and we all had a really good time with each other. then me and jenn had a night for ourselves, which was much needed. its been a long time since we had a night where we werent with other people. so since friday, things have been looking up!
also, a couple great things are coming my way. $1000 bonus for recruiting someone to the army (i should get it end of july). $2700 from financial aid. and if i go to training i should recieve about $9000. with that kind of money i can start paying off my debts and start living a normal life again.
if i have extra money to spend left over, i think me and jenn want to plan a trip to new zealand by next summer. one of her best friends lives there (whom i think is just amazing as well) and we would like to stay for about 3 weeks. now, if i can get all my schooling done and military training out of the way and not be in financial trouble, then im pretty set on going. i dont know how my parents are gonna take it, but this is something i've wanted to do for a long time. plus, i LOVE traveling, and im glad jenn likes to travel too because later when we both have grown up jobs we will probably be doing it a lot. alright, this was a long one, anyway, im out!
