the first day
May I say this first. Europe is *expensive*
and now i'm discovering yet again how accoustomed I have become to the japanese keyboards. i can find the right symbols without searching for them.
so far so good. flight was uneventful if boring because the *** airline is still in the darkages. no seatback entertainment system. note: don't fly with a carrier that codeshares with an American airline. there will be no freebees to speak of. the food will be minimal portions. and the entertainment will suck. impulse bought HP7 cause i wanted to know how it ended and that saved me from extreme boredom on the flight.
i've been spoilt by asian carriers.
haven't really slept beyond catnaps since i woke up friday morning so i'm going to bed now. and i don't think that i will be coming back to this hostel after the conference. they overbooked and i got shunted to the 34 bed dorm rather than the five bed one i booked and paid for ahead of time. :p
