She lives!
I have no really good excuse for being away since...oh, it appears it's been since Christmas. I have been lurking lately, but haven't felt like I have the time to post much. Work has been really busy, and, surprisingly, I'm coming up on my one year anniversary there. Family life has been stressful lately with unhealthy family members and other such unpleasant stuff. Still trying to plan a September wedding as well. But, onto other things for now.
Saw Iron Man two weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I can't wait for additional movies because RDJ is Iron Man. I can't see anyone else in the part, and actually hate to see him on interviews because he is Iron Man to me....I don't know if I want to think of him as RDJ. But, I'm sure his personal past will help him significantly develop Tony Stark in the rumored plot of the next film.
The boy has also got me into Battlestar Galactica. I have to say though, I liked the series better when I could watch episode after episode without this lousy waiting a week business. Adama and Roslyn are still my favorite characters because although they make decisions they later regret, they own up and take responsibility for their actions. I admire that. Lee used to be one of my favorites as well, but as I've seen him waver where ever the wind blows, my favor for him has waned. Anders, on the other hand, has become more appealing though. Even though I can't completely comprehend why he's so unwaveringly dedicated to Starbuck.
I'll try to be better with updating. Here's hoping.
