Holiday weekend...bleh
That means I have four days straight with my dear husband! haha! I love him to death but the man drives me crazy sometimes. Like tonight for example...I will be in my usual hyper Saturday night form. Ready to watch The Office on PBS and play Pac Man. Nooo....he will park himself on the couch and proceed to watch the NeckCar...I mean NasCar race. He is so lazy when he is home. haha. It's a good thing I have the kids to play with or I would go nuts! :)
Speaking of...my son got one of the retro Atari 2600 dealios for his b-day. I llllllove it. Atari is all I really know....I never had any other kind of video game system.
Last weekend I had a super visit with Sammy. We were supposed to go out to dinner but that didn't pan out. She wasn't feeling well so we will have to do that another time. Of course all I really cared about was seeing her so mission accomplished! We hung out and chated at her house, listened to a Brian Regan comedy cd. I thought she was going to hyperventilate! Tears were streaming down her cheeks she was laughing so hard! So I'm glad I at least got to cheer her up since she was kinda down. Had a nice visit with mom and dad, too. Man, I miss the eastside. I seem to miss it more and more as times goes by. I moved down to the southside in 1995. I think I may need to put in an eastside visit this weekend.
