I should just leave the entry until all this funeral stuff is all done! Our beloved Fred Meijer is there walking with his walker. His grandson is a cadet at one of the military academies and escorted Betty (I think it was her) yesterday at the museum. (Fred is special to us as you may know by now.) I am moved always watching the removal of the casket from the hearse and back again. Dick says those military people who do that are chosen especially for that job and are trained and all have to be the same height, etc. This tribute to a President in our town brings tears to my eyes and is making me feel very emotional.
