People who live in Michigan talk a lot about the weather. (Yes, I know everyone around the world does also! But maybe Michiganders think about it more?) So it seems to appear in many of my conversations, posts, and daily living stuff. For example: it has been heavenly lately. Nice temps in the mid-50's and even lower 60's. I can take walks with only a sweatshirt on. I can walk outside without getting blasted by cold air. I can drive anywhere without worrying about driving on snow or ice. We even had SUNSHINE for several days this week! Unbelievable!!! BUT: tomorrow the bottom will drop out of this. There is a winter storm prediction with rain, freezing rain and snow coming. Overnight tonight the temps will fall and then it will get steadily worse. Big sigh!
We are having a nice, regular, slow time of year right now. All this week and next is mostly free time after being so busily hectic for so long. I am lazing away some of the time and getting a few little projects done. It feels nice.
We are considering getting a new vehicle to replace our van. We are in the thinking about it and discussion stage. We have always in the past driven cars until they are old and done in. Lately we get ones quicker and even brand new ones! We test drove a Toyota Sienna minivan the other day. It was nice and Toyota seems to have a good safety record. I don't really groove on doing the look at new car routine. Maybe Santa will just put one in my Christmas stocking and save me the trouble.
