i love 2006!
june has been an amazing month!
neil got in from scotland for his family vacation. luckily we got to spend a full two days together!! we drove down to miami to meet up with eeeeeveryone from nz since they're all on warped. we hung out for a few hours before i realized that i was supposed to babysit. hahaa. we made it back to orlando in record time (3 hours from bicentennial park to baldwin park)! nice. neil and i babysat and just caught up the rest of the night....and fell asleep to hotel rwanda (me in the first 5 mins).
sunday, warped tour was in orlando! neil and i picked up dave and eva to spend the day at disney. even though it stormed half the day, i had an absolute blast. i love love love hanging out with dave-and really great to get to know eva. she's such a doll, freaking adorable! she squeaked and squealed like every 5 seconds in excitement. love her. dave and eva joined me at church, as well...which we were way late for and only caught worship. ha. buuut we did catch ruth, holly, and shirly for steak and shake :)
i miss them already. can't wait to move to nz! ohhh man, i need patience!! :)
in other news, kristen left for her team training in california last night. soon, she'll be off to vietnam. pray for her. she's amazing. i love that girl...more than life...cant wait to live together! again, patience ;)
2006 has been a major thumbs up so far! i feel like i've grown so much closer to the Lord this year than ever before. actually the past few years have consecutively been like that, which i like. i just want to get to the point where loving Him is enough, no action necessary. action should be a natural reaction to love.
oh and i ended up having couchsurfers from denmark AND the uk!! they were all amazing. seriously, so glad to have hosted them!
anyway, ptl! i love you. yes, you!
