What the fuck "Hostage?"
Alright, Robert and I went to see "Hostage" on saturday night,I assumed it would just be like an enjoyable action movie, because Bruce Willis is a cool guy, not to mention he has the same name as The Boss. Anyway when it started I was like "What the fuck, are they accidentally showing us "Sin City?" Okay like you know how "Sin City" looks on the previews, like really cool black and white and the camera goes through the city, and all these special effect type things, they show a lot of red. That's exactly the way "Hostage" opened, and the rest of "Hostage" is nothing like the opening and it doesn't even take place in the city! I seriously think they are using the same opening in both movies.
But anyway it was the most violent movie I have ever seen in my entire life, it was insane! And I know this will like totally ruin my street cred and all, but i thought I was going to have to leave the theater because i couldn't take it. I stuck it out but, man, holy shit. Maybe i'm just sheltered. even without the violence it would still be a pretty crappy move though, though it mos def lived up to its name, I think there were a total of 5 hostage situations. But again, holy shit.
So enough of that. For Robert's birthday (June 3rd) I got him tickets to see the Red Sox in Boston, probably more for me than for him haha, but I made him a huge fan so he'll be really excited. But originally I was also going to get tickets to see the Cubs (he grew up watching the Cubs) after the Red Sox, in Chicago.
See my plan was that we would take a road trip and camp along the east coast and see the Red Sox, then keep going and see the cubs, and just make a really awesome month long camping trip out of the whole thing. Well Robert informed me he is taking classes at ACC this summer, so now i'm thinking we'd have to just fly into Boston for two days, see the Red Sox and fly back so he wouldn't miss school. But I can't afford plane tickets ($900 round trip), like even if I saved my money, by the time i could get them they would be even more expensive because the price goes up the longer you wait. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm stressed out. WE HAVE TO SEE THE RED SOX!
