i joined a 90-day workout challenge group that will be starting july 7th (i'll probably start whenever i get my dvds). if anyone wants to join it with me, that'd be awesome. it's always easier (and more fun) to do this if you have someone doing it with you. i was recommended a beach body workout system called piyo, which is a series of low impact, high intensity workouts using your own weight in the workouts and not any lifting or bulking. what i like about it is a) cardio and b) the workouts are 25-40 minutes long. one of the biggest challenges i've had in the past with a workout routine was time. p90x was good, but some of the videos require you to have different sets of weights and i don't have my own personal gym. that and all the workouts were OVER an hour, which doesn't sound that heavy until you actually start doing it. anyway, the whole workout system (dvds, booklet, eating plan, tape measure) was $60. not bad. if you're interested in joining the challenge with me, let me know. i wish i could have started this sooner, but life was in the way. time to get my ass back in gear. here is the link to what i bought:
