Why can't you over conservative born-again christians just not watch TV that bothers you? Is it that hard to change the channel to PAX tv, or not let your kids watch shows that aren't targeted for them? Do you REALLY need to send hundreds of thousands of automated complaints to the FCC about what "indecency" is on the telly? Why can't you raise your kids and stop relying on mass communications to teach your children morals and ethics? Last time I checked, that was your job, not CBS.
and FCC: why do you listen to these people? Surely, if anyone over at your big wig government agency viewed their website you'd realize these people are completely dellusional. They preach what's right and wrong according to an archaic book, and I thought we were supposed to separate church and state? You make these ridiculous fines for television and radio companies to abide by because you don't want the "airwaves polluted" well let me inform you of something: THIS STUFF EXISTS ANYWAY EVEN IF YOU DONT ALLOW IT ON TV. There will always be sex (and if there wasn't, the AFA wouldn't be around, they wouldn't have been born), drugs, and violence, and you know what, showing it on television doesn't increase the chance of it happening. The AFA should know that more than anyone else. Isn't that right? The Christian Family Coalition would also know that during the times of Cain and Able there was no television or radio. Correct?
President Bush, can't you find anything better to do that sign these bills? We have already lost 2,500+ Americans in Iraq, countless Iraqis, innocent journalists, peace supporters, and others who choose to aid us in this unecessary war. Instead of doing something to protect these people, you sign bills to "protect" the airways and corrode free speech, you try to put a ban on a committed monogomous relationship of people who are in love only because they are the same sex, and you attempt to ammend the constitution to place a ban on flag burning, an act that was declared to be legal and protected under the first ammendment.
Well, Mr. Bush, FCC, AFA, and CTC, wouldn't it just be easier to get rid of that first ammendment all together? It looks like that's what you really want.
