Those buttered potatoes...oh yes. I can taste them just thinking about them! And yep, I have been to Hokkaido once in winter so there was some familiarity plus my beta (lucky girl!) went this year, so I was constantly poking her to refresh my memory.
I'm so glad that the Shige and Koyama thing worked...they just seemed the best balanced pair to bring across, and the right age, and it just...worked in my head? They seemed to fit together, and when I thought about the way Koyama networks, I thought he of course would know Kame already! And Kusano....in my world, Kusano got to stay....and the tabloid angle...given the way they act that seemed reasonable, and poor Anne would worry about it.
I am so glad you enjoyed reading it and thought it was interesting - once it came together in my head, I enjoyed writing it, but I always worry in exchanges that a lower rating/on the sweeter side might be a disappointment to the recipient, so I am glad that you enjoyed it :) Thank you so much for the lovely comments :)

Oh gosh, the setup of this fic gives me such happy, drama-like feelings, I can't even tell you. ♥ And it's Kame/Anne, afjdsalfjjak, and it's so sweet and somehow gradual even though it's only set during 24 hours, which is a feat. :D And the setting is so well-established and the mood and the feelings, mm, it's lovely. YESSSSSS. Adored this to bits and pieces! I love how Kame/Anne just seemed so comfortable with each other, even though initially Anne is just starstruck because hello, this is Kamenashi Kazuya to her. I love how Kame pursues her and how sincere it all is, and how it prompts her to be honest with him and TAKE A CHANCE. T.T I love the Shige/Anne friendship because omg, adorable, and really, this was just a GREAT READ. ♥♥♥

Thanks for commenting, and I am so glad that you enjoyed reading it. I had a great time writing it, and I;m glad that the shift from Star!Kame and Fan!Anne to Kame/Anne worked because I worried that it was a little one sided...but then I realised that Kame recognising that she was a fan and letting her know that was ok would make her feel a lot better about things. Shige/Anne friendship was in my head almost from the beginning - why I can't say except they seemed to fit together...and I am so glad you enjoyed reading!

I really enjoy the banter between Kame and Anne!

She pulls the coats away. “You need to get out of those clothes. Now.”
“Dinner?” he replies.
Anne blinks.
“What?”
“Aren't you ... going to ... buy ... me dinner ... first?” Kame wheezes, and Anne uses the towel to dry his hair just a little bit more.

“Really?” Kame drawls and is rewarded by another flush. She was really quite delightful to tease.
“You've watched my movies? All of them?”
“The ones where I take my shirt off are of no interest to you? Or how about the one where I was a cop, and had all those locker room scenes?” He grins at her. “How about the one where I play a host? Did you see that?”
Anne huffs. “Ok, I've seen them all.”
“Even the one where I was a pianist who spent two hours trying to learn that one piece of music and ended up dying of pneumonia?”
“Even that one.”
“Wow. That's dedication.”

Kame is such a tease and aggresive, while Anne is just too sweet and sincere. It's a delightful read!

^__^ I love writing dialogue (possibly too much sometimes and I worry that I get carried away) so I am glad that you liked the banter. I am a bit romcom fan (probably obvious huh?) so to hear you liked the banter makes me really happy, I feel like I got the tone right! I love teasing and focussed aggressive Kame in pursuit of his goal, and I wanted Anne to be sweet and sincere with a touch of snark (in other words not to Mary Sue!), so I am glad you enjoyed reading!
