Arizona State Marching Band Festival
The Thunder Marching Band & Color Guard participated in the ABODA 2004 Marching Band Festival at Dobson High School on Saturday November13th
The band received an Excellent rating in the Division 1 Morning Session
Drum Majors, Guard & Percussion all received Captions in their classification

A Very Good Day for The Thunder Marching Band!
The Thunder Marching Band & Color Guard participated in the University of Arizona Band Day in Tucson, AZ on Saturday Nov 6th
The Band received a Superior rating with a score of 91.64
Out of 41 competing bands only four superiors were awarded
DV tied for First Place on the day
DV also received the “Nunamaker Award" - A special merit award given to two bands this year: DV & Corona
Music, Guard, Percussion & Visual all received Superior Captions in their classification

Loara HS Field Tournament Results
The Thunder Marching Band & Color Guard participated in the Loara High School Field Tournament in Anaheim, CA on Saturday Oct 30th.
The Band received an overall 6th place out of 19 with a score of 81.6. The winning band scored 91.6. The Thunder Marching Band scored higher than some bands with 180-250 members.
In the "Special Awards" category combining all divisions, The Thunder Band Percussion received a an overall 5th place behind the largest top rated bands with a score of 84.3. The winning Percussion scored 91.5.
The Thunder Band Color Guard received an overall 9th place out of 19 with a score of 77.6. Winning guard scored 87.3. Guard placed 3rd out of 5 in division.
MARCOS DE NIZA INVITATIONAL RESULTS:
The Thunder Marching Band & Color Guard received a score of 93.4 and a rating of "Superior" for their performance at the 2004 Marcos de Niza Invitational Competition, October 23rd at Padre Stadium
Outstanding Performance Captions were also awarded for:
Auxiliary, Percussion, Music & Visual

ASU BAND DAY RESULTS:
The Thunder Marching Band & Color Guard received a rating of "Superior" for their performance at the 2004 ASU Band Day Competition, October 9th at Sun Devil Stadium
Out of 7 Division 1 Bands, Desert Vista had the second highest score (90.7 out of 100), just behind Corona del Sol
CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!
AZPAS FALL FESTIVAL RESULTS:
The Thunder Band Front Ensemble & Drum Line received an "EXCELLENT" in the AZPAS Fall Festival 2004 - Saturday October 2, 2004 at Red Mountain High School
