TY VOLE!
Thats my new favorite thing to say in czech. guess what it means? betcha you cant guess!
So it was a lovely weekend in Praha. I shall tell you alllll the dirty details, of which there are many. Hmm. I went to school on friday. yep.
heres something really damn wierd... during break Honza got up in the front of the room and he was like "Blah blah blah random czehc words" and then everybody started writing something down on a piece of paper. so i asked my friend Yveta what the hell was going on and she was like "oh were having a popularity contest". so apparently we are all voting for the most popular person in our class, then it goes on to the grade level contest, and then finally the school contest. sounds kinda like student council, eh? wierd czech stuff.
So. After lunch i walked to the train station. I bought a new super cheap duffel bag, for like ten dollars, cuz i needed one, and the strap was shot in like ten minutes. thats what i get for buying crap i supose. so ill have to duct tape it together now... classy. so i was early, so i sat down next to this sleeping guy, cuz that was the only place to sit. lauren comes a few minutes later, and the guy wakes up and hes like "TY vole!" and then he starts saying all this wierd shit and talking to us and stuff, so lauren and i decided to go outside to get away from the scary old czech man. but he decided to FOLLOW us outside, and then proceeded to talk to us more. so we went back inside, and finally he left us alone. ack.
the train was really full cuz we were going to Prague on a friday, which is never a good thing to do. however, the exchange students that live in česke budějovice were on the train, so that was good.
okay im seriously wayyy too tired to finish this, so i shall tomorrow. must sleep. there was definitely a lack of that thsi weekend. sorry.
