well it will be a real live entry. no joke. i never did tell you all about my little social outing on tuesday with the girls from school.... these two girls from school, Lenka and Anishka or something like that, said on monday they wanted to take me around Tabor on tuesday. so i was like yeah sure. theyre nice enough...Anishka might seem a bit ummm unwholesome at first glance. She seems to like wearing this one seethrough lace shirt which highlights her bellybutton piercing, has highlighted pink and blonde hair, and wears an exorbitant amount of makeup. oh yeah, and she has these super dangerous looking pointy black pleather boots. ack its raining. its sooo gray. but they really are quite nice. they took me to the mall in Tabor, which is a few blocks away from school, and has a few good stores. I really need to buy a new sweatshirt or sweater, but im just too damn cheap. damn me and my cheapness. i have a damn lot of money right now though, so i dont see why i hesitate so. so we did that and had a decently good time. they invited me to the disco next friday, which i shall of course be going to. whoot whoot disco. then i took the bus home. wednesday...what happened. oh right, nothing. my host parents finally figured out that i have to go register with teh police, which i had known since before i got here. but when i got here i told them and they were all liek ooh idk what your talking about. but i guess some rotary guy told them that i had to go. and so after school on wednesday my host dad and i went. its really teh scariest builiding ever. straight out of some like creepy commie movie. theres this old man sitting in behind a glass window and you have to ask him to open the wrought iron doors so that you can enter. and then we went down a hallway and sat in these uncomfortable chairs. it was that really icky dim fluorescent lighting, and really quite ungodly still in that place. there was this little light up sign outside the door that said !please wait! in faded letters...it really creeped me out. and we had to wait for like 20 minutes. but its all good. thursday was a generally very good day at school.. i had lab biology first hour, and my teacher decided she wants me to learn, so i took notes on mushrooms and looked at mushrooms under microscopes with a girl translating for me. it was qutie good. thank god my physics teacher didnt decide she wants me to learn something. adn after school i had my first violin lesson.. i was quite nervous because i hadnt practiced all that much. my teacher is this 60 year old guy who speaks no english. my host mom came to translate for me. i played this mozart concerto thingy, and i guess it went okay. then he played some parts to show me how to play them, and he can like barely play violin, much less this super difficult mozart piece. idk if this means hes necessarily a bad teacher though. i think i will have to have a few more lessons before i can really tell. and what happened today....absolutely nothing. nic. we got out of school at 115, and then i was like what am i supposed to do. so i went back to the mall and looked around more and got a notebook, and then i walked home, which isnt too far and is on this really lovely path through the woods. its really steep hills though, and i was like damn im going to fall. its so purtry here, because the leaves are just starting to change color, and theres the charming little babbling stream in the woods...picturesque. my chums at school invited me to this class party tonight at Honzas cabin...i wanted to go, but its an overnight thingy and i have a rotary conference tomorrow. but i guess my class often has get=togethers and whatnot, so there§ll be more stuff to do. i guess thats it. im super hungry. maybe ill go watch some tv. i watched Pimp My Ride last night on MTV.... lame. i have a tv in my room, and cable, buts all in german or czech except CNN and MTV. which isnt too shabby. i also watched Charmed a few days ago with my host sister in Czech. laaaaame show. well i must go. comment or die!
