Sometimes life gets you by surprise,
then suddenly you realise. . .
. . .you're all alone
The people all around you'll find,
are slowly leaving you behind. . .
. . .but you're just not moving
You yell, you shout, you trash about,
you'll scream, breakdown, you'll cry out loud. . .
. . .still you'll not be heard
Brokened, defeated on the cold tiles you lay,
Hoping with time you'll soon decay. . .
. . .you know you've lost
And then these tiny lights shine down,
lifting your spirits off the ground. . .
. . .you believe
You take control now your strength regained,
it feels you'll never fall again. . .
. . .you think it's over
Then,
the little lights that saved your day,
How soon they came slowly fades away. . .
