What is with people that ALWAYS think they spell the name of the idol they are writing about is right? This has only come to my attention when I came across an Ohno fanfic.
Really, is it really needed to mention that you had 6 years of Japanese classes, that Ohno should actually be Ono, and that no one has the right to tell you that you are wrong. It isn't too big of a deal, but with me finally thinking about how to write my fanfic and the names it started to bother me...
Is it so hard to just look them (the idol) up and see how it's written?
If people are not sure as to what the name should be written as in english http://www.johnnys-net.jp/j/index.html does the job well, and it is official!
No need to search up and find blogs, wikis, and fansites to see if they all match.
Maybe i may seem a overreacting with such a small issue of a name but it bothers, not to mention it seems dead quiet here.
