Lewis Vaslet of Bath (1742-1808). Three quarter length portrait of Mary Mortimer (1764-1826), in a landscape with her spaniel 'Sir Philip Marramat', wearing a broad brimmed black hat trimmed with ostrich feathers and a blue coat, one hand clasping a glove and the other gloved hand clasping a crop, oil pastel, indistinctly signed in pencil and dated 1784, 64cm x 50cm, and also the original pair of gloves in a separate framed case.
