Round 4 - Challenge 1
Welcome to Round 4!
This round is a little bit different.
You can't skip the first challenge!
But no one will get eliminated! Everybody get's at least two challenges to do.
Let's say this week it's a "test challenge". There will be a voting, but just for you to know what you can do better next time or if your icon is already perfect.
This round will focus on textwork. I have a lot of sparky lyrics for you to play with.
If you need some cool fonts, you'll find more than you ever need at dafont.com.
If you missed the sign ups, there's still a chance to get in. Submit an icon for challenge 1!
And here's the first challenge:
Please read the rules carefully!
- You may only participate if your name shows up here.
- You may submit one icon only.
- Brushes, textures, stockpics and gradients are allowed.
- No textbrushes at all.
- NO pre-made bases.
- Icons must follow lj standards, 100x100 & 40 kb.
- Do not post your icon anywhere else until the challenge is over.
- Post your icon and it's url as a comment to this post.
- Comments will be screened.
- Use this images only. Blending is allowed, but not required! (credit goes to Dedicated To Stargate SG1)
- But most of all HAVE FUN.
You have to use at least three (3) words from the following lyrics:
Close to you
Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you.
Why do stars fall down from the sky
Every time you walk by?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you.
On the day that you were born
The angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair of gold
And starlight in your eyes of blue.
