I haven't updated for a long time. I am going to try to make this one not too long because I am using my mom's laptop since mine is usually pretty dumb when it comes to updating my journal and doing things. It usually shuts off. So, I will only type about some things that are important that I can remember.
Yesterday Ed turned 22!! Happy Birthday Eddie-Pie!! We went up to Savoy to visit his Babcie( grandmother, in Polish). She is a nice woman and I had a nice time. It took us about an hour and a half to get there. And it wasn't the best weather yesterday either. It rained a lot, and it didn't help that we couldn't see anything on the highway when we were trying to get to Springfield after visiting his Babcie, to go to the Olive Garden. Anyway, I prayed that it would slow down so we could actually see where we were going, and it did. I was glad because I was getting a little nervous. We also went to Lee outlets. We stopped in Zales hoping to look at Promise rings but looked at engagement ones instead. They didn't have promise rings. I told him what ones I liked. :) It was exciting thinking about marriage, especially with Ed. I haven't looked at engagement rings with anyone before, so it made it really real. I am very happy.
At the Olive Garden we saw this one lady who was mentally challenged and Ed asked me, if he looked like her would I still date him...Ok, that doesn't matter. Later on he eating and then he drank and had a "hicurp" (hi-cup/burp) and he spit, it was halarious and we laughed over it for a while. We always have such great times together!! :)
After we finally got back around here, we came to my house, picked up the cake I had made him the night before, which was supposed to be a NY Yankees cake, and brought it to his house. His mom had bought one from Big Y and he had a little of each. He said my cake was good but it might have been because he didn't want to make me feel bad. I hope not. Anyway, after our 12 hour car ride, we wanted to lay down. He opened presents from his mom, step father, sister and brother. He got some nice stuff. Some new clothes, and some other nice Yankee stuff. Oh yeah, he liked the pillow I got him with our picture on it, and the Yankee Stadium blanket too. :) I also got him, the early birthday presents of, a donation to the cancer society (his granfather died of cancer), a Yankee bracelet, calogne, a shirt from Hollister, a Yankee Moose, made him a relationship alphabet (which is more just a thing I wanted to do, not necc. for his birthday), a card, and...I think thats it...oh yeah, and an antenea topper. Baby, did I miss anything? Let me know.
So, I have been sick for almost 3 weeks now. And today I noticed a big lump on my neck. It could be a swollen gland but it's in a really weird place where I didn't think glands were. So, who knows? I called work to tell the nurse that I had a fever still and a sore throat and I didn't know if I should go in and work with the elderly if I was sick like that, but she said I should try and maybe they would let me go early. So, I am going in. I think I am going to ask the nurse to check out my neck and see if it is a swollen gland or if I should go to the doctor, which I am starting to think I should anyway because I have been sick with a sore throat for far too long now anyway.
So much more has happend and I have been boring and so busy with Eddie, (thats a good thing baby) that I haven't had time to update. I am not in the mood now to think about everything that has happend, but Ed had been on vacation and we spent a lot of time together.
I slept at Ed's house on Tuesday night, got attacked by his dog (she was playing), and we laughed hysterically for a long time trying to put up his tent. It was the funniest thing, so we had to borrow mine from my house. We had a really nice time and we ended up spending Wednesday laying around all day, lazy. I hadn't been feeling well, and we didn't get much sleep Tuesday night, so we needed to catch up on it.
Alright, I need to go to work soon, and as I said, I am on my mom's laptop so I should get going now. I also saw Shanny and we caught up a little bit, which was good. Scott is home too and he is leaving on Tuesday so I reallllly need to call him back so we can get together for a little bit before he leaves again. I work every night so maybe during the day or something. Anyway, Eddie if you read this and I forgot anything major, add it for me please.
I think tonight we might be going bowling. I'm not sure if Brian is coming. Or Howie for that matter. I am waiting to here from him. He has a new girlfriend and he might bring her so we can all meet her. I think that would be fun!! Also, Ed and I, and Matt I think, are going. I really need to call all of them. I think I will tonight when I get out.
OH YEAH....Ed and I also went to Mount Greylock yesterday, which is the highest mountain in Massachusetts. My baby was so scared of the height, but I am so proud of him for going up in the oservation tower with me. The mountain is 2,491 feet high!! It was high, let me tell you! It was really fun though. Oh yeah, a spider crawled on Ed that looked really weird, and he had some yellow stomach. If I hadn't noticed and flicked him off, Ed might have turned into Spiderman!!! UT OH!!!!!!!
Have a nice day, all. I am really going this time. God Bless. -Jenny
P.S I miss you Jen!! I hope you're having a great time!!!
