A lot of versions for the same video
I'm kinda tired of adding 4621365256 versions of the same performance/pv to the index.
Lately the updates are huge and this is making me procrastinate a lot when I have to update. I don't want to get tired of updating the index because I know it's quite useful and a lot of people need it,and I want it to be up to date, so I need to do something about this.
I was adding all those versions because I know some people want open links, or some people like one version more than the other one, etc, but... I'm just tired. And I'm convinced that some people just sub for the comments or the "joy" of seeing themselves in the je-index, which is quite surreal. So something needs to change.
I don't know what to do, because I still want everybody to have their options when downloading, so, if anybody has any ideas, I'm open to suggestions. Till now, I thought about adding maybe the first 2 versions of a perf and the first 5 for pvs. Or maybe the first one locked and the second open for perfs. But this might lead to people rushing to sub videos to get in the index and releasing crappy subs. I know, this might sound like I'm full of myself and everybody wants to be in my index (which is not what it is), but seriously, I know not everybody cares, but some people do. Believe me.
Anyway, this might be a pointless post bc I don't think there is any easy solutions, but, just in case somebody has an eureka moment, please, give me suggestions!
