Surreal!!
I know it's kinda offtopic but I have to post about what happened to me last night with the index. Surreal.
I was updating like everyday, I usually do it before I go to bed, and last night I was super sleepy and wanted to finish quickly, but well... that's how life works, right? murphy!
I finish updating and go to the web to see if everything is alright and what I found is that instead of the updates page there is a blank page with a small number on a corner and that's all. I'm like wtf? where are the updates? and start panicking thinking about what could it be...
So I think: maybe I should just delete the updates page and update it again, but that doesn't work. Then I try replacing it with the oldupdates page and it shows up. So the problem is the updates page. Then I think that if yesterday was working, maybe the problem is what I wrote today. I delete the new updates and it works! Wth? why it doesn't show up when I add the new updates?
The updates for yesterday were:
30.10.2009-Others-CAPTAIN! TV - Arashi - Arashi Challenge Week by sidetracked_ (***)
--.05.2007-Cartoon KAT-TUN-Episodes 6, 7 & 8 by lolitaprincess (***)
Then I try deleting one of them. When I delete the arashi one it still doesn't show up. When I delete the cartoon kat-tun one (and add the arashi one again) it works! Now this is suspicious...
I try then adding a little information at a time. First I add the date: it works. tv show title: works, the episodes: works, fansubber: blank again!!! wth!? at this point I'm kind of figuring out what it could be...
So when I added "lolitaprincess" to the update page, it didn't work, and then I tried with "loli taprincess" and it works.
Yesssss, that's right, my web hosting censured the word "lolita" and that's why the updates page was blank. When I finally figured that out I was feeling like super-clever for doing it in like 15 minutes, because if yesterday had been one of my dense days probably I would have gave up half way xDD I didn't even know webhostings have a list of censured words!!!
So I had to write "loli taprincess" and I can't even link to her livejournal. I'm sorry lolitaprincess !

Offtopic 2: This web hosting doesn't allow to upload files larger than 500 kbs, and Arashi's list is getting dangerously close to that, I don't know what I'm gonna do! xD
