okay so i have no idea what to even SAY here, other than that i really liked it and the universe you created was totally interesting and intriguing. i don't normally read a lot of au and i'm not familiar with scifi themes, so this is all shiny and new to me. :3 i can say that i love the whole scandal with the ariake ot3 and how nino was the mastermind behind it. i also loved ohno fishing and the sakuraiba moments. ♥ and how matsujun and nino were conniving together in the beginning but then nino went too far and jun was (possibly?) the one to cut him off. the scene where nino was restricted by the invisible wall was particularly powerful, as was the very last scene with nino and aiba.
this is the first arashi fic i've ever received in an exchange and i am super pleased with it! i don't think i've ever read anything in future tense before, either. thank you so much for writing all of this for me. :D it's very clever!
This was really intriguing. I loved the concept of dramas as virtual realities, and Nino's games within games and his slow slide off the deep-end was interesting. I'm still not entirely what was going with Ohno unless it was his way of trying to get Nino to take a step back and think, but I like what I think he was doing. XD I love the way you worked with this idea and really enjoyed this. Thank you!
It's hard to comment something else than what there is said in those two other comments: this really was very interesting and intriguing. But I especially loved the virtual world that lacked the unnecessary senses, had been accepted because of the propaganda and had changed everyone.
Actually, maybe there was included a bit of propaganda in this fic too. Because this kind of counteract with the way people nowadays seem so fascinated about technology and all the possibilities it gives. Or maybe I see this that way because I myself am slightly scared about how developing technology is usually thought as an only positive thing. (It can be just my field.)
Anyway, I liked this very much (and am surprised this hasn't got more comments). Thank you!
This was definitely an interesting read and the more I think about it the more I like it :D
I'm not usually all that fascinated with anything sci-fi'ish but apparently when you add JE to the mix it gets more so xP And yeah, this was good and I loved all the dynamics between the 5 of them (and adding Ryo yay :D). And kind of can't stop wondering what was left unsaid, since really only Nino's thoughts were revealed. Using their irl drama roles as their other personas was a really interesting idea and it worked well in the context too.
