I'll admit it: I saved this one for last. Nino/Masami? Ohmiya? HELL YES. And this was so lovely. It was just gorgeous. I loved Nino's regret and his reasons. I loved how Ohno was just THERE. I love how so many of his actions could have been just those of a true friend as well as those of a lover. I love how you worked in the rest of Arashi and Nino's hanging out with older actors and Ohno's love of clubbing (and fish) and how busy they are all the time.

I also really love how Masami is in this fic. She's not here for much of it and yet she's in all of it and in all of it she is a woman like any other. She's hurt, she's trying, she's sweet, she's funny, she's in love and she's leaving and she's happy in the end. I really love how you handled her and her relationship with Nino and Nino's feelings for her (and, by extention, what he's done to her).

I love how Nino wants to change himself FOR himself--not for Ohno or for Masami or anybody else. He doesn't want to do that to anybody else, or to himself, again. Brilliantly done.

And Taka and Yuji! *flails* 'In Taka's world, there's only Yuji'. My heart, it is yours forever and ever. ♥♥♥ (Shut up! Yuji/Taka is totally my weakness!)

That balance with Ohno that you mention - true friend versus lover - that, in particular, was really friggin' difficult. Shifting the relationship to favor romance instead of just Ohno being supportive had me tearing out my hair. For some reason it was just really hard to show his intentions with all the levels of emotion/stuff going on. I'm still not sure I really did a good job. u_u

The Masami/Nino plot was what I really wanted to focus on, originally, but... lol. Well. Oh, this fic. It made me angst.

But whatever I might think about this fic, I'm really glad that you like it, because that means it's done its job. :) Thanks for the wonderful comment.
