I was very strongly reminded of The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (which in my case is a very good thing, since I loved those books :D)
I loved the fact that each of them had their ups and downs; loved that you put in so many small details that make this feel as real as canon.
And the ending - I giggled in glee at the sudden change to IM, but it's so appropriate. I think you've managed to capture the timelessness of their friendship really well, especially in their dialogue, which subtly changes with age yet seems to stay the same.
thank you for reading, and sorry this reply has come so late! it was only after i wrote it that i saw the connection to Sisterhood and i was happy because i really liked those books too XD
i'm so glad you liked the story and the IM at the end. it was really stressful writing this story because i had to come up with it in a very short time so i'm glad it's garnered such positive response :DDD
I am truly, madly, deeply in love with this. I am also 99.9% sure who wrote this. Pretty much, anyway :B
So, I love you an insane amount and love this fic like burning. I would totally leave a more substancial comment, but it's late and I lost most of my coherancy giggling about everything (mostly tiny, prepubescent Jun and Sho's air muscles). Will maybe comment more this weeken when it is not 1.30 in the morning on a school night.
This was such a fun and joyous read! I love the tag mail system, and how the whole story somehow felt quite real? I can't find the right words to it, but as for the prompt "We're all about cliques, yo!", you really nailed it :) How real friends support and care for each other, and at the same time diss each other with friendly love between the lines ;D. True friendship.
And Nino, being such a sweetie towards Ohchan <3 The epilogue chat was bliss. Amphetamines.. XD
I want to say lots more, but I'll just blabber on about all tiny bits here and there that I really loved, so I'll stop before I go all squishy.
thank you so, so much for thinking the story fit the prompt. this wasn't my original idea and i came up with the story in a very short time so i'm just really relieved. i love friendship fics too, so seeing that you do makes me smile :) thank you for reading and spending time to comment. sorry this reply has come so late!
I especially like Aiba's tag mail system (very ingenious) and how the story switches from the letters to their story when they are all in Ikeda. And how their friendship remain as the years pass (and how they evolved from mail to instant messaging). And the bus! <3<3<3

Will definitely come back to comment after I can coherently flail at you without quoting the entire thing back at you ^^;;
