the weekend has been good. quality time with the family mostly. lots time to reflect on the good in life.
went to baby Izzie's 1st birthday party :) she's so cute and happy. you can't help but be happy around her. I want to go see her more, to see her grow, and see her develop. it was great to see my family for a bit and to not worry about what bullshit the adults are arguing over, but just watching the kids play and smile and laugh.

later that night, me and Nikki went to see Reign Over Me after dining at Las Palmas for dinner. such a well-made movie dealing with grief, friendship, love, and loss... I highly recommend it.
today, I'm just chilling around Brusly again to do laundry and so Daddy can take care of some automotive stuff...
