I'M NOT GONNA PLACE AN LJ-CUT IN THIS POST!! NOPE!
I know Takuya Kimura's Goodluck is not his greatest jdorama ever but it's not crappy, as what GMA-7 edited it to be. They turned Goodluck into a piece of crap! Really! Just imagine compressing a 10-cd jdorama into 10-days with 16-18minutes airtime. Do you think the people would be able to really see what the story is all about? Ok. I get it. There were parts where the focus went to the other characters but they were part of the bigger story. I mean, of course the whole thing won't just solely revolve around Takuya's character Hajime Shinkai since he's not the lone character of the story but the way GMA edited it, Shinkai became the one and only character in the jdorama. Like the others were all a bunch of trash that their stories need not to be told. Pakshet! I do hope GMA would somehow get to read my entry. I mean it. If they're gonna air Jdoramas and would turn them into some piece of a crap, then they shouldn't bother. If they're just after the ratings, which I know they are, then air some stupid dramas with the usual melodramatic themes! Those dramas that keep on beating around the bush like it's never gonna end! Crap! Leche talaga! They did this already with Zaizai and Barbie's Mars when they aired it at QTV at an impossible slot. I mean! The story's just so good to be wasted and turned into a crap.
Ok. I know, I'm ranting once again and those who have seen this jdorama would totally agree with me. They murdered it! They didn't give the jdorama some justice! It was a total crap! Crap! Crap! I mean, the ad of airing it was longer than the time it was aired. Why was it cut TOO short? Ratings? But it has 6-8 ads. If rating was the problem, then it would've been obvious with the lack of sponsors, right? But it wasn't the case. Ok. Maybe its rating wasn't the rating they were expecting. What the heck! How can they possibly reach those kind of ratings that My Name is Kim Sam Soon or Full House gave them? It was aired at a slot where people are still on their way from schools or work.
I'm so fucking pissed! First, they dubbed Takuya's voice using some voice that fits a guy who looks like a comedian or sth. The english pronunciation was fuckin' crap. Like 'excuse me' was pronounced as 'es-use me', who's gonna like that? If not for Takuya and taking note of its rating, I really wouldn't watch it.
Sorry Shinkai. Gomen ne. You were murdered to the worst possible way. They didn't give you justice at all and turned into some self-centered, egoistic piece of crap.
To GMA-7, STOP AIRING JDORAMAS IF YOU CAN'T GIVE JUSTICE TO THE STORY AND ITS CHARACTERS; MUCH MORE IF YOUR NETWORK ONLY CARES ABOUT GETTING HIGHER RATING THAN THE OTHER STATION. YOU'RE MURDERING OTHER PEOPLE'S SWEAT AND BLOOD!JUST GET THOSE MELODRAMAS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! YOU'RE INSULTING THEIR WORK!!!
