All out of chicken soup
I'm a little sick. ;_; I've been so good about NOT getting sick even in the midst of working with every other employee down with some crazy cold-like symptoms. Now, months later, everyone else is well and I'm the only one sick. I have no one to look all fatigued with. Bah!
My co-worker Alfred left me a honey bear, assorted teas, and a 'Get well' card in my mailbox. He also left me a burrito he made himself in the fridge. He is extremely nice. ^^ He's gotten into the habit of making lunch for me and inviting me out to lunch often. I've declined just as often (obviously not the first time. I just thought he was showing off his cooking skills. Didn't know it'd become a habit). [sigh] I'm just gonna hope he's that nice and has no ulterior motives. >_> Hooray for nice people.
How is it that my brothers make things seem cool to me. u.u They like to watch (what I think are) conspiracy theory movies and read articles of the same material. Y'know, like Zeitgheist (I & II), The Artificially Sweetened Times, They're Still Lying to You, etc... So when this super normal, super plain looking girl handed me a couple of DVDs obscurely labeled 'NWO' and '9/11' (even though customers aren't allowed to sell or promote within our store) about a month ago, I didn't think much of it. My brothers were eagerly on the bandwagon to watch 'em. Man, those DVDs are hours long! Like 4+ hours. o_o
Despite how long the movies are, I was just glad I had something to do with my brothers. For awhile since moving up here I felt like we couldn't relate on a lot of things. My eldest brother was texting back and forth with some girl he'd just met and was asking me what he should reply with. Lol, a couple of times I predicted what she would reply with correctly and not too far off for the other times. Maybe I should've been born a boy. =(
I'm going to curl up on my couch and watch Korean dramas. That'll make me feel better. [cough cough sneeze]
Edit: (2:30 am) You'd think I would get tired of the typical love square scenario... How can two hot rich guys be so charming? XD Everyone forgives the female antagonist in the end, too. What a happy world.
