The only one who's surprised when the letter is read aloud is Daiki himself. The rest of his group either nod sagely or laugh. Daiki turns red and splutters in indignation.
"What does she mean I look like I belong in 7?"
"Well," Ryutaro says as he steps up to the older boy, "I think even I'm taller than you..."
"Maa, when you're shorter than our youngest member..."
"It's the inside that matters, dammit! I'm totally mature!"
Yuto grins and pats Daiki on the head. Daiki's eyes foretell manslaughter in his near future.
"I don't think killing fans is a good idea," Chinen muses. "Or Yuto."

"Besides, you're practically part of 7 sometimes," Yabu is saying.
Daiki's eyes narrow. "Like?"
"Well, there's Scrap Teacher, and then there's Romeo and Juliet, and maybe we could finally perform Su.Ri.Ru without feeling too guilty-"
"Hey! I'm old and mature, okay?"
In the background, Yuto and Keito janken for who gets to switch out to BEST.

Keito struggles to not facepalm as he does his best to mangle the words to Lovejuice.
Yamada's glad he gets to sing one of his favourite songs.
Ryutaro sighs 'cause he's too young to do sexy.
Yabu begins to regret suggesting the switch.

Yabu sort of panics when Koyama says something about KAT-TUN being so nice having such great inter-group member-ai and senpai responsibility and playing with Shintaro when he visits with Jyuri.
"But they're tiny!" Yabu gestures for emphasis. "Really tiny!"
Hikaru rolls his eyes. "They're just juniors," he says. "They can take care of themselves. I mean, we took care of ourselves, even Daichan took care of himself."
"Takaki was there! He had a group!"
"So does the kid, jeez."
"But they're tiny! It's like throwing lambs to wolves," Yabu moans.
Ryutaro rolls his eyes. "I feel sorry for the wolves."
