Title: The way things are
Unit for points: Hey! Say! JUMP
Word count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Morimoto Shintaro
Author's Notes: ...I don't actually have a clue how tall he is orz. /delurks

He's twelve years old, a hundred fifty centimetres, has a couple dramas under his belt, and a starring role in a movie. He has his own junior group and performances with a million back dancers even tinier than him. His own CD with songs for him.

Morimoto Shintaro is a hundred percent sure he is the best performer under the age of thirteen Japan has ever seen, regardless of his size, or lack thereof.

But even so, every morning when he sees the giant his brother has become, some part of him thinks that he's still got a long way to grow.

Title: waiting for dreams of days gone by
Unit for points: Hey! Say! JUMP
Word count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Yamada (childhood-friendship!yamajima...!?)
Author's Notes: So UH MAYBE STRETCHING THE PROMPT A LITTLE but y'know =D

"Not that way," Yuto reprimands him as Yamada fumbles yet another dance move. Yamada flushes when the other boy grabs his wrists and waves them the right way.

Yamada can't tell the difference.

"If you learn it in the next half hour, I'll treat you to icecream on the way home!" Yuto says. "Or you'll have to owe me ice cream~"

Yamada wakes up with his cheek plastered to the desk and the memory of strawberry ice cream melting down his chin, childish laughter free from worry. He has an interview today, he remembers, and wishes he could have dreamt a little longer.

Title: of yesterday and tomorrow
Unit for points: Hey! Say! JUMP
Word count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Keito
Author's Notes: idek.

Keito spent his years of being small in England, struggling to fit in a place he didn't understand. He never played the kid brother in a drama, or got to be silly in a TV show. No one ever cooed over how adorable he was or how good he was at backflips. No one patted his head and handed him a mic and he never danced his way through childhood.

Instead, he says dorky things in English on national TV, goes through a couple of bad hairstyles, and relishes the adolescent days he still has left.

"Coming?" someone calls.

"Yeah, wait for me."

challenge: when they were small, unit: various juniors, unit: hey! say! jump
