When Shige learns the photoshoot’s theme is “coolness,” he’s skeptical. KAT-TUN does coolness. Tackey is cool. SMAP owns coolness.
But NEWS’s coolness isn’t actually cool.
“I’m concerned,” Shige tells everyone.
Yamapi says it’s fine; things always work out.
Then they arrive at the studio and find motorcycle gang costumes waiting for them.
Shige sighs. “How uncool.”
But the others aren’t listening.
TegoMassu are busy tying their headbands and Yamapi is donning the leader’s jacket while Ryo hefts a bokuto and Koyama puts on a pompadour wig, squealing at how everybody looks.
This, Shige supposes, is the limit of NEWS’s coolness.
