"Just open it already!" Nakamaru was clearly bored of waiting for Ueda to unwrap his present. "Don't you want to know what Koki got you?"
Inside was a knitted scarf, the soft grey yarn gentle against Ueda's fingers. He paused. A scarf? Were they that low on gift ideas? He glanced up, and caught sight of the nervous smile on Koki's face.
"He's been working on that for months," Kame didn't bother to hide his grin.
Ueda blinked. "You… made this?"
Koki scratched at the back of his head, and although the scarf was still in his hands Ueda suddenly felt warm.
