Notes: From the same verse as this and this and this and also this and this. Lol, daily posting. This is getting dangerously addictive. At some point, I'm going to have to collate everything and smush them together to form a cohesive fic.
'Hiromitsu.'
Kitayama's eyes fly open.
'Tottsu.'
Someone is singing in the shower. Totsuka raises an eyebrow.
'A friend,' says Kitayama, realising how silly it sounds once he's said it. Tottsu chuckles, and its home, for Kitayama. It’s just that right now, he can't decide which is better. The shower stops. Fujigaya steps out, towel around his waist (for the first time).
'So,' he says, a perfect picture of calm and serenity, ' A friend, huh.'
Totsuka smiles nicely, Fujigaya's eyes burn against his returning smile, too wide and too bright.
Kitayama groans; he's far too old for drama like this.

'Do you love him?' asks Totsuka over breakfast; egg and sausages, Tottsu's favourite. Kitayama prefers rice and soup.
'I don't know,' admits Kitayama, poking his eggs.
'Hm,' says Totsuka, and it doesn't sound as neutral as he has been sounding since he got here. Kitayama looks up.
'Are you angry?' Kitayama asks, 'I love you,' he says, 'you know that.
Totsuka laughs, ' Hiromitsu, Hiromitsu, I love you too. But you've always found it hard to understand that you can love more than more person.'
'But you have to love one of them more,' says Kitayama,' and I don't know who.'

Totsuka shakes his head, and his smile warms Kitayama right down to his toes; so different than the tingles he gets from Fujigaya, but filled with just as much love.
'You have to stop limiting love to just one category,' Totsuka tells him.
Kitayama thinks long and hard throughout breakfast. Tottsu makes sense, as usual.
'I'm sorry.' he tells Tottsu when they're walking out.
Totsuka pokes his cheek fondly, 'Dating you was like dating my best friend. A soul mate. You still love me just the same, and that’s what matters. I'll find someone that gives me tingles too, someday.'

'You have to come out at some point,' Kawai says to Fujigaya's door.
'No,' comes the answer, just a firm as three hours before.
There is a commotion suddenly (but only because BAD is on duty). 'You can't go in there!' hollers Kiriyama.
Totsuka smiles at Tsukada and Kawai and points to the door. 'Fujigaya-kun?' he asks.
Tsukada nods. Tottsu knocks on Fujigaya's door.
'I said go away, Fumi,' hollers Fujigaya.
'It's Tottsu,' says Totsuka, 'Can we talk?'
After about two minutes of Totsuka standing patiently in front of the door, it opens, and a bit of Fujigaya's hair appears.

It plays out like a one of those dramas Takizawa-kun is addicted to.
When they come out of the room, the smile on Fujigaya face (that he valiantly tries to hide) says it all.
It's nothing short of heartbreaking, and Kawai wants to collapse into Tsukada's arms and cry, except Totsuka is still there, staring at Fujigaya's back in thoughtful silence and it's bad form to have dramatic breakdowns in front of guests.
'It must hurt,' says Totsuka, 'loving him.'
He leaves, and Kawai carries out his dramatic breakdown, but Totsuka's smile and his soft, voice lingers in his mind.
