The sparkles around him did nothing to brighten up his mood. As much as he’d been working on that spell, it didn’t seem to want to give him the results he needed. He checked the runes once again, revised the incantations and opened the portals to see what wasn’t working, but it was futile. He had no idea what was wrong.
“Master Nakamaru?”
He turned to his apprentice, a cup of tea on a tray and a small smile on his lips.
“Is everything alright?”
And it wasn’t, but as he pulled Kame closer, he was sure it will be.

Title: Obnoxious

He was loud, obnoxious and plain tacky. He’d walk around in huge baggy pants and golden long necklaces dangling and blinking. He’d wear sunglasses in winter, tank tops to classes and fluorescent hoodies to study groups. Kame wrinkled his nose when he plopped beside him in History class, the very only class they had together since last semester.
“Hey, Kame,” and he’d also use that horrible pet name when talking to him. Their TA had glared at them when Kame had gone into hysterics about it.
“Want to go out on Saturday?”
Yes. Well.
“Sure.”
Koki was also a sweetheart.

Jin sighed and observed his partner almost pulling his hair off from his scalp, sitting in front of his laptop and trying to make some data work in their favor. The model wasn’t working; standard errors too high and main coefficients barely relevant. They should actually be removed and then all that theoretical review should’ve to be revised and-
“Yes!”
Bright eyes turned to him, stumbling over the words when he explained where they were wrong and Jin saw in awe their perfectly matching model. The bubbling excitement inside him matched Kame’s grin and-
Jin kissed him. Hell the consequences.

“Junno!”
Kame cursed, arms too bulky moving slowly towards his fellow astronaut. The other had dashed out of the spacecraft and was now looking around with a grin. Kame seriously wanted to pull his oxygen supply away, to see if he kept being that hyper then.
“Junno!”
Of course, he won’t listen. But then he heard that annoying “Iriguchi, deguchi, Taguchi-desu!” through the mic inside his helmet and he couldn’t help but snort and laugh because it was so bizarre, being on the moon and having the same lame Earthly puns.
Junno’s clear laughter though sounded better in outer space.

When Pi first moved out and Jin had to post ads and pray he wouldn’t have an insane new roommate that of course couldn’t compete with Pi’s awesomeness, he’d almost considered going back to the dorms. But then Kame had come and the interview went great and he made perfect curry for both.
Maybe having a new roommate isn’t a bad thing after all, thought Jin when Kame stepped out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel and threw him a sultry look over his shoulder, droplets of water falling down his back.
Not a bad thing at all.

Kame was running late. That was all Pi could concentrate as he checked himself and arranged his shirt again. Jin had pulled a luck charm around him and told him it’ll be alright. Today was the day.
“Pi!” and there he was, strolling to his side. “I’m sorry, Yuichiro had to-”
But Pi waved it off and took a long deep breath. Then he pulled it out, the amethyst shining in the palm of his hand and Kame’s eyes widened comically. Only Pi was too nervous and only kept it there, dangling between them both.
“Would you be my keeper?”

The captain had just called the crew back to their posts and Jin was still struggling with an old lady that refused to put her lunch-tray up, stubborn in finishing her Sudoku before she’d consider it.
“Everything alright?” and the thankful look he sent Kame was enough for the other to lightly push him aside and charm the lady enough so she was blushing and the tray was in place.
Jin felt him following to his post. “Old ladies were done for you.”
Kame snorted, leaning forward and kissing him before buckling his seatbelt.
“You aren’t an old lady, Jin.”

It isn’t in every tavern there’s a waiter looking exactly like their captain, if maybe thinner and eyes without the murderous glint Kame’s usually have. So when their captain disappeared taking that stranger with him, Maru followed. Just in case.
He choked back a moan when he saw them, twin arms entangled with each other and then the younger one was moaning and his captain was kissing moles mirroring his own before a high-pitched cry filled the room and the waiter was being so thoroughly fucked into the mattress.
Maru shivered when his captain smirked at him.
Raise the colors.
