Summer Challenge is over!
1st place is TOKIO with 40 pts
2nd place is a tie between ABC-Z and Kinki kids with 30 pts apiece (lol it's like Endless Shock)
Week 43, thanks to snowqueenofhoth, is Hand-me-downs.
One of my favorite things about JE is that it's a long unbroken string of daisenpai to senpai to kouhai to trainee, but the dark side of that is an awful lot of hand-me-downs. I'm going to name KAT-TUN costumes as the worst offenders of this, as ABC-Z and more recently the Snowmen have every right to be sad about, and I've seen some ancient NEWS costumes making the rounds, horrifically. And costumes aren't the only things that get passed around either: that's exactly how Kis-My-Ft2 got Yokoo and ABC-Z got Hasshi from KKKity and JJ Express, respectively.
Feel free to construe this as broadly as you want. There's lots of siblings in JE who i'm sure get lots of things passed down, like Shoon teaching Reon to dance at home, or Ryutarou handing off hamsters to Shintarou, or goodness even knows what Koki teaches Jyuri. Junior groups are constantly doing senpai songs and dances (Do you know how many people have done Venus?). Hell, Kis-My-Ft2's entire image is a hand-me-down from Hikaru Genji before they fixed it. Even Shounen Club's been handed down from Yamapi to Koyama and Nakamaru and sometimes now to HSJ.
So go nuts. any questions go to myself or musikologie who ought to be back just in time for me to go on my vacation this Wednesday (which is GREAT because now it's her turn to update for the next million weeks ahahahahaha).
