as some of you may or may not know, i now bounce people for a living. (im a bouncer :P)
tonight was so SO bloody boring...
bloody xmas party for companies like Royal Bank Of Scotland(4 tables), and the Bank Of Scotland or Halifax to us normal folk (9 tables), and a funny little corner with people from a company called Smurfit(2 tables) aaand many many more people too.
oh, and it was £50 a head, they got a cheapish meal, which must have cost about £10 to put together, at most. a few crackers and other fun things around the table, a band and a DJ. (and Halifax had 90 people there... waste of bastard money!) but all they did was sit and eat for 1h30, and then drink and dance for the rest of the time!!
i started at 7, we hung around till about 7:30 waiting for the manager to stop pissing about, then 1 of the 3 of us was stood at the bottom of the stairs, making sure only people from the companies were going up, and then 2 up the stairs watching to make sure everybody was ok! thats it.
the most exciting thing that happened was that a guy decided it would be funny to pull down his pants and bare all to the world... it was oh so funny, yes. almost threw him out, but he was too pissed, and i couldnt be arsed throwing him out to then go find his manager and tell him he's been thrown out for being a (and showing his) cock.
he wasnt doing any harm to anybody else, only his reputation... what an arse.
BUT, the most exciting thing was that i found 3 stella keyrings, a rolling rock bottle opener and a hotel wine bottle opener. and 2 pens. oh, and abandoned truffles too... mmmmmm

working at the Celtic v Hibernian match tomorrow, easy shift, boring though. Hibernian are 3rd on the table, 7 points behind. Celtic played really shit last week, wonder whats going to happen?! ah well, it'll be a laugh either way!
