An Ode to Today

Today, I am a further 432.00 dollars in the hole.
Today, my car is running again, though still making scary noises and in need of more, expensive repair.
Today stands as additional proof that I am no longer as tight with my wallet as I once was.
Today is not Valentine's Day.
Today, I felt more tired than any other moment this year.
Today, I have begun to reconsider graduating this coming May.
Today, I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes.
Today, I can say I have not utterly avoided a certain situation any longer.
Today, it's been further proven that good friends are hard to come by and life would be nothing without them.
Today, I feel better about myself just for trying something totally foreign to me, putting myself in an unlikely place where much can be learned... and added to my sparse resume.
Today, the weather was lovely for a day in April, but horrible for February 15th, hence, today further proved to me the reality that is global climate change.
Today, (ok, fine, it was actually two days ago) I realized how bored I am learning from a text book- learning about wetlands and conservation by reading bland pages of a book when the world is right there! Nature is outside! Right at our finger tips! Look at it, it's so close! Let's go!

Today was a normal day, but worth noting none the less. Why, you ask?

Simply because today will never come again.

(note: that was meant to be happy and optimistic and a sort of "take advantage of every day!" theme and i just may be avoiding homework)

ok, now, go for it.
