A few updates:
I'm trying to cut out sugar, cut down on salt and limit carbs to the morning/early afternoon--and it's really, really hard. Especially when I have more than half my declining dollars left and now is the time to splurge, but I can't!
I bought a jumprope today. I was in K-mart looking for props for my movie, it was only 2.50 and I went, "What the hell, I deserve an impulse buy."
Apparently I Love You, Man is really, really good. I should go see it. Watchmen, on the other hand, is apparently terrible and I don't feel bad about not seeing it yet.
The NYU newspaper had an article today about a group of NYU freshman who turned their 4x8 ft closet into a "safe haven" for alcohol and weed. They're calling it Narnia. They even put a wardrobe in front of the door and cut a hole in the back so you actually have to go through a wardrobe to get to it. The best part is in the article all their names were Peter, Caspian, Edmund and Aslan, and their friend was named Eustace. I find this hilarious, because I love the Narnia books. And clearly they know them well enough to bust out the name Eustace. If I was in on this, I would want to be Aravis.
