Is Tuesday over yet?
Today feels like it was the longest day of my life...and Tuesdays aren't even my *hard* days. Grr... Jumping back on the Weight Watchers band wagon hasn't been as smooth as I thought it would be.
I had to walk into a Lexis Nexis seminar late, so I couldn't get to the free food. I spent most of the seminar trying to think of a polite way to snatch the pizza crust off the plate of the guy next to me...alas, I couldn't think of anything. He ate it slow as if to taunt me. I spent another portion of the seminar thinking that I will never be as thin as the presenter was if all I can think about is snatching food from people like a starving Gypsy child. Seriously, she was like a Forever 21 mannequin in a Forever 21 suit. ::Sigh:: I did manage to soak in some info about their new product -- it seems pretty awesome -- I think with a little tweaking, it'll research your projects while you nap. Perfect for me.
Also, my neck began to spasm during the seminar -- I think it was all the conflicting thoughts. Last year, I got eye twitches around exam time. This year is neck spasms. Somehow this progression doesn't seem to be in my favor.
I gave myself the gift of itunes downloads to get me through finals. Perhaps not surprisingly since it is me, it took the form of some Bruce Springsteen classics that I don't have on CD and some great Disney songs (Beauty and the Beast, A Whole New World, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, etc.). Don't judge me. ;)
Talked to Mom tonight. She wanted to know all about my ULWR (upper level writing requirement) paper. So I obliged -- it was easy considering I'm on my bed, next to a huge....

...binder of research with my laptop, trying to organize my cases with Lexis' new wonder product (see seminar comments). It was kind of funny. She exclaimed, "That's such a great topic!" And I was like, "Yeah, Ma, who doesn't love the juvenile death penalty."
I think that's all for tonight. I need sleep, so I can wake up and cuddle with my huge binder of cases some more. Hot.
