I love the rain!!!
So it's been so rainy and wet...miserably cold is actually more like it... but something happened to me that completely changed all that.
Wednesday morning I parked in Lot B and was lucky enough to find a spot right next to Joe... he knocked on my window and I opened the door for him...and then...WALA!!! SHABAM!!! A bouquet of a dozen red roses! Gorgeous! I was so surprised and speechless...it was so awesome...
You know what the best part is? His reason - just because!
I love just because roses!
So I carried them around with me to my classes, getting all these "oohs" and "aahs" and "awes" from the people I passed and from the people in my classes, saying how much they wanted "just because" roses too. *sigh* so romantic. teeheehee
Then later that night, he came up to the house and asked me to come out really quickly. He was holding one of those huge golfing umbrellas,. H pulled me out into the rain and we just stood there... in the dark...hugging each other... listening to the sound of the rain falling on the umbrella and keeping each other warm.
"Whenever it's raining for real, or even if you just feel like it is, just know that I will always be here with an umbrella, so hold you underneath it." That's all he said.
My heart melted - I hugged him tighter - and I started crying...
I am so happy.
