YAY!!! ::jumps for joy::
This Christmas has been the absolute best so far. I got to spend it with those near and dear to my heart. My uncle from florida, my mom's youngest brother, came to spend it with us this year and he's here until the 4th of january and so I was able to get all that time off from work. Which is really great cuz I just get to spend all that time with my family and friends...a very well deserved vacation I think.
Anyways, we had a dinner with the Fullerton crew on Tuesday night at BJ's and I was able to try a pizookie (sp?) for the first time...soooo good!!! Anyways, I exchanged presents with the rest of my friends and I really really REALLY loved their gifts...no kidding. Thanks again to everyone, you're the bestest! Then I went home on Wednesday and my uncle was already there. I felt kinda bad cuz the airline lost one of his bags and we had to wait an entire 2 days until it came. They promised that they would deliver it to him by 3:00 Christmas afternoon but that didnt happend and I just felt really bad cuz it seemed like that ruined his Christmas...which I'm sure it didn't but I felt bad anyways. Anyway, my sister and I took him to watch the Last Samurai. If you haven't seen that yet, what are you waiting for?! Go...it's really good.
The house is coming together really nicely. Pretty soon, our entire floor is gonna be wooded and the walls are newly painted, new moldings, doors, and windows and a newly added room for my sister. The house looks awesome and bright and cheery. I love it and I can't wait to move back home. Joe even helped us lay the vinyl tiles down to put the wood panels on. Thanks again Joe...I owe you one. I wasn't much help out in the mix of the construction excitement cuz I would sneeze every 3 seconds due to all the dust that was kicking up. So I made dinner instead - stuffed bell peppers...of all the times that I have made them for my old people, this is the first time that I actually had some for myself and it was not all that bad...it was actually really good. And of course we ate it flip style - with ketsup! hehehehe
Anyways, today, we're finishing up with the wood floors. Hopefully it'll all be done by this afternoon. YAY!! ::happy dance:: Also, the heater people are coming today so we don't have to live in a frickin' igloo anymore. It's dang cold in here! ::brrr::
More to come later! byee~
